The beginning of In Bloom

In Bloom was created when Denise found out she was pregnant. However, she was not the only one pregnant. With no exaggeration, six of her friends also found out they were expecting, with just one to two months of a due date difference! So, Denise immediately wanted to create something for each expectant mom to be celebrated and loved on as they were walking into a new season together. This idea went from a thought to a dream and turned into a reality inviting other pregnant women to come out and enjoy a day for themselves.

The meaning behind “In Bloom”

Just like a flower doesn’t force its way into full blossom, we as mothers also passively await the growth and arrival of our sweet baby. Somewhere along this process we’ll find that WE are growing and blooming, too. Growing in love, grace, excitement and even things like worry, anxiety, and fear. It’s a lot to take in and on.

As we grow, new parts of us are exposed - some parts we knew or expected, some acquainted with for the first time, and some, maybe we’d rather trim away before they grow at all.

This season, the calling of motherhood whether for the first time or the tenth time is sacred and not meant to be done alone. We are all unique moms to our own unique children, but together we are mothers of the world. Together we nurture and grow the next generation. A calling far greater than just our little family.
